St Giles Roman Catholic Church (lovingly known as Pugin’s Gem) is regarded as one of the finest churches in Britain. Designed in the 19th Century by A.W.N. Pugin, one of the foremost architects of the Victorian age it is a masterpiece of gothic splendour.
